Anna Rigali

Anna is a bilingual college and career counselor with a passion for expanding educational opportunities for all students. She enjoys getting to know her students' personalities and trying to make the college application and financial aid process low stress, for students and their parents. Anna has worked in the college counseling field for 16 years, in public schools and non-profit organizations. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish Language & Literature from Fordham University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology from American International College. She is a licensed school counselor and Spanish teacher in the state of Massachusetts, where she resides. While Anna is confident about helping all students through their college process, she has specific expertise in counseling students seeking admission to colleges in the Northeast, Massachusetts public college admissions, counseling first generation students, and financially aware college counseling. Additionally, she is skilled in FAFSA and CSS/Profile completion, scholarship search and applications, athletic recruiting, and college essay feedback. Anna is a member of local and regional professional organizations for school and college counselors and volunteers on the Latino Scholarship Fund of Western Massachusetts. She attends trainings throughout the year to stay up-to-date with college admissions and financial aid changes and trends. Having worked with an extremely diverse group of students over the years, she has learned that every student is different, with their own set of interests, needs, passions and beliefs and Anna seeks to empower students to pave their own way during this process. Anna enjoys traveling, reading, ice cream, coffee, and being outdoors.
