With a Master’s degree in School Counseling and a background in Community Sociology, Jeremiah’s career has centered on empowering students to achieve their academic, social, and emotional goals. His passion lies in helping students navigate the complexities of high school, preparing them for college life, and unlocking their future potential. Throughout his career, Jeremiah has served in a variety of impactful roles, including school counselor, academic advisor, and college readiness program director. His work with organizations such as Minneapolis Public Schools' GEAR UP program and the University of Minnesota demonstrates his ability to develop and implement strategies that increase access to higher education. Jeremiah’s expertise spans advising students on academic planning, facilitating scholarship recruitment, and creating diversity initiatives that foster inclusive environments. Committed to holistic student development, Jeremiah is passionate about bridging the gap between education and equity. His work reflects a deep understanding of the challenges students face and a dedication to providing them with the tools they need to thrive in their transition to higher education and beyond. With additional experience in diversity recruitment and postsecondary readiness, Jeremiah excels in fostering meaningful connections with students and community organizations alike. Outside of his professional endeavors, he enjoys outdoor activities, fitness, and hosting family and friends.
